Chef Kano’s story is written in flavor — a blend of heritage, craft, and world travel.
Born in America with Jamaican roots, he brings the rhythm of the islands and the precision of classical training to every dish. A graduate of Johnson & Wales and Hampton University, his foundation in technique is matched by his spirit of exploration.
Over the past two decades, Chef Kano has traveled across six continents and explored the cuisines of more than forty countries, from the street markets of Bangkok to the vineyards of Tuscany, the coastlines of South Africa to the spice routes of Morocco. Each journey adds a new layer of inspiration — a note of smoke, a whisper of citrus, a story plated with intention.
